Sent mails to all of our members and removed them from DE this morning.
(I accidentally spelled our guilds name wrong in half of them though, some guild leader I am, eh? ;C )
As said in the relevant discussion on our forum, this is due to inactivity and our plan is to join < Cry Havoc > and < Greenpeace >, to strengthen these already notorious guilds (both gr37+) instead of struggling to fuel our own ranks.
Those expecting a tearfull "goodbye" are mistaken though, this is merely a new chapter and by joining 2 active guilds we will keep on gaming togeather, even cross-guild. In fact, dividing our members between these guilds appear to be even better than we first had anticipated, as it has altready led us to not only coordnate things amongst us ex-DE'ers, but also the guilds' warbands.
I realize however that the changes does not appeal to everyone, and apologize that we could not make things work the way we had hoped they would. We tried recruiting ronins and members from dying guilds over the summer, but people simply would not leave their cradle. Instead we descided on being "the better men" and leave our own ship.
I'm sure a lot of us will miss the pink cloak and sensless babbling in /G, but those of us still playing WAR will surely see eachother again on the frontlines!
Oi Oi everyone!I know you're all enjoying summer, bathing and sunshine (some ingame, some AFK) and hope you are all doing well!
As anyone that has been online the past patch 1.3 weeks surely have noticed our guild-activity is a bit spread, with people being away with family, friends or just enjoying some of that air not heated by the CPU fan. I just want to make sure you all understand that that's fully and wholly OK. There is no need to feel like you're "letting the team down" or any of that emo stuff. DE always stays true to it's IRL>WAR priorities and we hope to see you all soon again :J
as we are generally too few online in the same tiers to just idle for a while and then
grab people left and right for a group. People who want to play but rather
sink time into something else are encouraged to log on briefly once per day
or every second day to see if there are any
upcoming RvR or PvE events coming up which they would like to attend.
There is talk amongst our officers about reforming the alliance - possibly forming a new one - but for now we will focus on our own guild.
in most of the fixes (that should have been there initially) now, and the RvR really is back to what it used to be (or as close as it gets when there are leggy bikinis-blondies to be seen out of game!)
So for those who simply wanted to wait out the mess and PvE-farming; all that's missing now is your participation.
Personally I'm gonna take off for about a week again come this monday. Gonna work and bathe (not in the LOTD waters though, that's for sure) but I will be back again before you even miss ressin' me ;J

Are dev's actually allowed to say this? Anyway its an explaination of how stats work in 1.3 and beyond.Original Link
Evening folks,
So we have alot of people speculating on how STR / INT / BS/ TOU work in 1.3 (and even 1.2.1) when compared to each other. As a result I'd like to sit down and clear up a few misconceptions about Statistics so everyone can understand how they work, why we made the changes and give appropriate feedback.
I want to make it 100% clear that the examples I use here are 100% PIGWANK meaning....... (cont. Below - Click "Read More")
CLASS PREVIEWS
Adam Gershowitz made several posts in the official forums today, providing some insight about patch 1.3 and what class changes are slated to take place. Adam claims the major concern of 1.3 is retooling AoE skills vs. direct skills--mainly by nerfing AoE skills. Bear in mind that not all of these proposed changes are promised for 1.3. In fact, many are being investigated for later patches.

Also PTS 1.3 Has started....
Now you can share the wealth with your friends and realm-mates! Opt out of loot rolls in Public Quests (including those in Keeps and Fortresses)to ensure that everyone gets their share of the treasure. * Take control like never before with improved Action Bar functionality. Show up to five action bars on the screen, and customize the orientation and number of buttons on each bar individually.
* We have expanded player inventory to ensure that you have room for all of the new treasures you find in the Land of the Dead. Players will be able to obtain additional inventory space for alternative currency and crafting, freeing up their existing inventory for more loot!
As all eyes turn to the blazing desert lands in the south, the realms draw up their plans to take advantage of the diversion and claim victory on the field of battle. Collect Ordnance to purchase new enhanced siege engines, secure your Keep's inner door with the new "Deadbolt" upgrade, and experience numerous improvements to many of the game's Scenarios.

Now, they’re calling it the Sigil System and they’ve entirely removed the link between wards and armor. Too many players were wearing the exact same outfits and it was all rather silly.
So now, when a player gets a piece of armor with the ward, it is tracked in their Tome of Knowledge and permanently affixed to the character, regardless of what they do with the armor. A set of five wards is called a Sigil, hence the name change.

EVERYONE needs to watch this..... This is really going to change the game.LAND OF THE DEAD - PART 2
The US gets patch 1.2.1 on Thursday 16th so we should have it on Friday.Take a look at the full patch notes here
Additionally there will be added functionality to have specific guild "Recruiters". As such we will be implementing this so if you are interested in being a recruiter please let one of the Officers know.

A token based system for PvP rewards has finally been announced..... See all the details at the link above.
The site is accessible through the normal domain name again. No more nipples involved, nor do you have to put a direct link to news.php or forum.php anymore. The problem was easily fixed by removing the standard index.htm from the root.
So, just typing www.diversuseminor.org anywhere in the world will suffice.
Enjoy!
